5 Ways to Keep your Body, Mind, and Heart Unshakeable [Part 3]

Find your Yes!

As we continue with this series of blog posts about the 5 Ways to Keep your Body, Mind, and Heart unshakeable, we move to the next step —Find Your YES!

In the last few blogs, you read about the importance of recognizing and stopping a pattern that is keeping you from staying calm and following your heart. Then in part 2, you learned why it’s critical to redirect yourself out of your twirly MIND and back into your BODY.

Step 3.

to Keep your Body, Mind, and Heart unshakeable; you’ll experience the power of your Body Wisdom and how to follow your Heart’s YES!

When you take back control of your energy and your heart:

  • Remember how to dream.

  • Get the twinkle back in your eyes.

  • You stay in control of what you are thinking.

  • Feel steady and calm

  • In short, to become UNSHAKABLE.

That's why we all need to find tools that help us stay in-our-power and although there are many different ways to get empowered. Over the next weeks I’ll be sharing with you how I stay calm and in-my-power.

  1. RECOGNIZE

  2. REDIRECT

3. Find your Yes!

Your Body Wisdom guides you in so many ways, in both subtle and downright obvious ways. When you follow your body's cues by paying attention to your sensations or emotions, you can ask your body-led intuition for guidance. Which you're doing every day by asking yourself: Should I wear this or that? Then doing into what feels right by following your body’s lead.

Here's an exercise to build trust in BodyWisdom and follow your Heart's Yes! —even more.

  • Feel your feet on the ground.

  • Take a deep breath in. Soften your eyes.

  • Take a moment, and notice how you feel in your body. Feel what's tight. Feel what's relaxed. Feel what's cool, and feel what's warm.

  • Now say to yourself, "My name is... (say the name you like to go by)" and notice how you feel in your body. Next, say to yourself, "My name is..." and choose a different name.

  • Notice how your body responds to that statement.

Here's what to look for: when you say your name, your body responds with a YES!, which feels comfortable and calm, settled, or expanded, or feels like you want to take a deep breath in. When you say another name, you might experience unease and agitation, or tension or a sense of contraction — a NO.

These sensations of YES!/NO can be subtle or not-so-subtle in your Body.

The more you practice, the more you'll discover how to identify your personal YES!/NO signals and be able to follow your Heart’s YES!
