Hello You :: Soulscape
It’s human nature to push away the mean beliefs we think about ourselves. We tend to tuck those stories deep into our psyche and move on. But, we really know that unless we process, meaning looking at, unpacking getting to the root of things they don't go away but will come out in different ways — anger- sadness, sore lower back, stiff neck, chronic illness, just to name a few.
A powerful way to give a voice to what you are stuffing is to use the embodied creative process for witnessing to stories you tell yourself.
It is healthy to honor all parts of your self. To give some space to all the stories you believe about yourself.
Today, I wanted to unpack this "off" feeling, to see if I can dig a little deeper and get closer to my truth. This journal energy didn't end with me feeling better, but I found myself saying, "Oh, Hello, you, we meet again."
So, go ahead and find some paper and paint. Then grab a pencil and ask your heart + soul to help you express what you need to express. Love yourself enough to say Hello.
